Preschool

At Sonrise Preschool & Learning Center we use a theme-based curriculum that is Bible based, Montessori inspired, and utilizes learning through play. We utilize Learning Without Tears for handwriting and language skills, as well as an array of activities for learning STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). 

Yes, all children must be able to care for their own bathroom needs.

Parents can access information instantly about their child(ren)’s classroom activities, schedule, and plans through ProCare, which also provides access to family contact information and is where parents can update emergency contacts or the list of individuals allowed to pick up their child(ren). In addition to class specific information, all school events, notices, weekly newsletters from classroom teachers, monthly newsletters from the Director, will be sent to your email.

For Preschool 3 our schedule is 2 days a week – Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm. 

For Preschool 4 our schedule is 3 days a week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am-12pm.

Other Programs

We do not offer a Kindergarten class at this time. If this is something your family is interested in, please fill out the interest form on the ‘location’ tab of our website. 

We do not currently offer a  class for children under 3 years old. If this is something your family is interested in, please fill out the interest form on the ‘location’ tab of our website. 

We do not offer early drop off or after school care. 

General Questions

You can drop your child off 10 minutes before class time, you can park and walk them upstairs to drop them off at their class. See the parent handbook, or email your child’s teacher, if you have more questions in this area. 

We have a large indoor playground and large motor play area that your child will get to play at everyday! 

We only have a short snack period, so we ask that you do not pack a lunch for your child. We will provide snacks, but if your child has an allergy or dietary restriction and cannot eat the snack we provide, you can pack your child a snack.
